Intro
TriQuick is a mobile app that simplifies HIV testing by guiding users through results, treatment options, and nearby care resources.

The Challenge
Building the TriQuick app required tackling the complex challenge of making at-home and field HIV testing both accessible and reliable. Genlantis needed a mobile platform that could guide users through self-administered tests, accurately match physical results with digital inputs, and provide next steps that were both medically sound and user-friendly.
Key challenges included:
- Result interpretation: Designing an interface that allowed users to match their physical test kit with the app for accurate results.
- Health tracking: Creating a system to log medications, symptoms, and treatments over time for ongoing care.
- Education & guidance: Delivering clear treatment options, educational video content, and actionable recommendations without overwhelming users.
- Resource connection: Building tools to locate nearby hospitals and treatment facilities in real time.
- Sensitive data: Ensuring that health information was handled with clarity, discretion, and user trust.
In short, TriQuick needed to transform a complicated and stressful medical process into a guided, user-first experience that empowered people to take control of their health.

The Result
The TriQuick app was designed as a comprehensive, mobile-first health companion that supports testing, treatment, and education in the field. By combining medical accuracy with intuitive design, the app delivered a seamless experience for both first-time and repeat users.
Key outcomes included:
- Guided test experience: Step-by-step flows to match physical test strips with digital visuals, ensuring accurate results.
- Personal health hub: Trackers for symptoms, medications, and treatments, providing a clear health history over time.
- Actionable insights: Tailored recommendations and treatment options to help users understand next steps.
- Educational resources: Built-in video content designed to increase health literacy and reduce patient uncertainty.
- Hospital locator: Integrated maps and contact details to connect users to nearby care facilities quickly.
- Empowered usability: An approachable design projected to increase user confidence in self-testing and reduce errors by 25–30%.
By blending diagnostic guidance, health tracking, and education into one cohesive app, TriQuick reimagined how critical health testing can be delivered outside of traditional clinical environments — empowering users with knowledge, support, and direct access to care.
